What does having the favor of the gods do?
I apologize if this has been asked already--I looked around but didn't see it.
I was wondering what having the favor of the gods does...I understand that it takes 5 consecutive wins by one area (does it have to be the same team?), but every time that little "So and so has gained the favor of the gods by winning at the Hall of Heroes" or whatever pops up, I can't help wondering what that means. I've been with Guild Wars for a long time--ever since E3 for Everyone, in fact--but this is a new feature so I'm not sure what it does. I even asked at the official Guild Wars Support center, but they wouldn't answer it and asked me to ask at one of their forums (so here I am!). Anyways, sorry about that wordy post. Any help would be appriciated. Thanks! |

It has to do with unlocking really high level PVE areas. You can only get into them while your area has "the favor of the gods".

Thanks a lot, Harvey. Can you be a bit more specific, though? My guild and I are quickly approaching level 20, so it'd be nice to know. Where can you get these elite areas?
I do remember reading that you have to talk to a ghostly hero (in Tomb of Primeval Kings?)... |
